So, we went to panel today and thankfully everything was straightforward (we did have a few nerves!). We got to see some more pictures of R and agreed a provisional date of the 17th May to start visiting him.
Panel itself went quickly - and we just waited in a dark and dingey room in the Corn Exchange, Newport to await the news...
And then we were told the good news that we had been approved to be the parents of R! It all feels very real now and we can't wait to meet our boy!!!
A is very excited and is talking about his brother. He's looking forward to sharing his room and playing with R.
Going through this process obviously brings back memories of what it was like going through the process to adopt A. What an absolutely amazing gift he is. We're overwhelmed by God's kindness to us in giving us this adoreable little boy. We love him so much and are so grateful for him. It's amazing to see how God's hand has been on his and our lives!
So now we look forward expectantly knowing God is in control of all things.
