Well, as Day 3 draws to a close, we are all pretty tired!
We were greeted with dark clouds as we approached Wales today (nothing new there then!) and we felt tired before we even saw R who himself, was looking worn out!
We were once again greeted with his lovely smile and played with him for a couple of hours this morning. He was in a mischievous mood today!
It was a day of mixed emotions again; it was nice to see him become even more familiar with us and look to us when he fell over or wanted something. We took him for a ride in his 'new' buggy and went to the park. However we feel for the foster carer who is finding it tough with the fact R is so at ease with us and not really clingy with her as she had expected. She is very attached and is finding the process tough as it is her first time doing this.
It was hard to leave him again today. He cried out for us as we laid him down for his afternoon nap and left him for the day. We miss him.
We cannot wait to introduce A to him tomorrow - we no longer have to leave A behind and can enjoy the rest of the visits with A fully involved. We love this boy so much and he is really looking forward to seeing his brother.
Please pray for the foster carer as she is finding this difficult and also for A as his world changes big time tomorrow. I cannot imagine what must be going through boys little mind.
Day 4 marks the start of longer days and the day we get to be united as a family of 4 draws nearer!
Much rest needed tonight! Nick and Rach x
